Alpha is coming! Alpha is the first word in the Greek alphabet. It is also the name of a course that has influenced the lives of thousands of people all over the world. We offered it at Northside several years ago and it had life changing impact on a good number of people.

Alpha is for those who want to invite a friend who is spiritually seeking to join them in the course.

Alpha is for those who want to become more grounded in their own faith, learn how to grow in their relationship with the Lord, and discover more of how they can help others through how the Lord has empowered them.

Alpha is for those who want to feel more comfortable and more competent in reaching out to their seeking friends in their every day lives.

The atmosphere for Alpha is accepting and often fun. Anyone should feel welcome and accepted. It is also a time when friendships are established or deepened.

We will offer Alpha on Sunday evenings at Northside from 6:00-7:15, beginning January 10. I will lead the Alpha Course which will include DVD clips featuring Nicky Gumbel, an inspiring and entertaining speaker. Group interaction will be a very important element of our time together.
