In Your Time of Need...Where to Turn

You are encouraged to be a part of one of our small groups.  Our small groups are given the responsibility to be the first line of care for those in their group.  In addition to ministry offered by our small groups, we have the following ministries available to those in need.  It is our heart's desire for Northside to truly be a family of faith for all who are part of our fellowship, whether they have attended one or one hundred times.

  • Sunday Morning Prayer Teams are available following worship.  The teams pray for those who want prayer for any reason, such as starting a new realationship with God, healing (physical, emotional, spiritual, relational), financial needs or direction in life.  Contact the prayer team captain at the front of the Sanctuary following worship.
  • Prayer and Care Teams are available for those who are going through hard times such a sickness, grief, divorce, hospitalization, depression, loss of a job, and so on.  Two or three persons from a team will listen to and pray for those in need.  Contact Caring Pastor Emily Hughes (890-8985) hughese@northsidefellowship.org
  • The Prayer Chain gets people in the church praying for emergency prayer requests.  Contact the church office (890-8985)
  • The Benevolence Fund is financed by contributions to Northside Fellowship.  The fund is used to help those in our family of faith in urgent financial need because of a crisis.  Contact Pastor Jeff Dybdahl (890-8985) dybdahlj@northsidefellowship.org
  • Helps Ministries are available for those who are moving, who need emergency, minor home repairs and cannot afford to pay for them, or who have emergency needs for transportation, child care or meals.  Call the Northside office(890-8985) northside@northsidefellowship.org
  • Biblical Counseling by our pastors or others in the church who have education and experience in counseling.  Our pastors do not counsel for more than one or two sessions.  However, they will make referrals to reputable and effective, professional Christian counselors.  It is possible to fund some or much of the counseling through the Benevolence Fund.  Emily Hughes, our Caring Minister, counsels women on a limited basis.  Contact the Northside office (890-8985) northside@northsidefellowship.org
