Attention all Northside members:

As most of you know, Northside has a box truck. It was purchased in January of 2008 through the generosity of a few large designated gifts from the previous year-end. It has since been used many times for many good purposes. It has been a moving van. It has served as a "gear" carrier for our youth and our Boy Scouts. It made a trip to New Orleans to aid Katrina victims. Every 2nd Saturday it gets used by our "Seeds of Change" ministry for pick up and delivery of household goods to needy families. It hauls mulch. As you can see, it has been a blessing to many. When not in use it is parked in the southeast corner of the church parking lot.

Early on we saw the opportunity for it to be a "mobile billboard" for Northside and our ministries. We now have a solid quote to repaint the box and apply our church logo and vital contact information on all sides. We are using our "Mountain Moving Miracle" logo as it works well with the "Penske" yellow. We could easily use it for parades as well.

The total cost of the painting will be around $500. We earlier had a much higher estimate but through a “connection/God thing” this price became available. The logo work and installation will cost $895.  Would you prayerfully consider a special donation to this effort? We have approximately $400 saved from a previous donation and feel the rest needs to be raised before the project can move forward. Please make checks to Northside Fellowship and earmark any donation to the "truck logo" project.
